Today was hard. I got in the big break. It was me, 4 Toyota guys and a Helth Net. We did 22mph up the climb each lap. Then Healthnet got worried cause Baldwin was with us and didnt want to give him a head start in the TT against Oneil. Priority was done, so Ryder rode the front and they caught us with 1 lap to go. I got dropped, but bridged back on on the descent. Then got droped again with about 10km to go and finished about 10 min down. Sweet times. It was pretty cool to be in the break though and working it. Tomorrow is the TT so hopefully I can just chill and rest up for Saturdays big one. Below is RT after a hard day in the saddle. We are pretty haggard right now. Luckily the Sportsman AC has 3 setting: Tropical Storm, Hurricane, and Tornado. We are nice and cool in here, but it is 90 out. WTF? Anyways, tomorrow is the kids race to so that wil be good fun. Later on.

Giviner in the sun
Today was pretty hot and booring. H-Net rode around at the front untill they were about dead and we cought the break, then everyone started attacking them and it got pretty hard. Only 35 of us in the front group. BJM got the GC on time bonus so those poor Priority Health guys are in for a real treat tomorrow as everyone and their mother atacks them like crazy. Below is a sweet shot I got today during the race. Can you name the MTB riders in the Photo? Got the AC cranked in the RV because it is still super hot out, but we are grilling up some sweet steaks and I ate a massive salad to boot. Ummm! Beefy! Time to go flip the cow flesh and put the legs up. Tomorrow is going to rock.

Kickin it Old school
Ryan looks so hot chillin in our 1982 Dodge Sportsman Luxury right now... We just got osme groceries to cook for dinner after we shred the TT tonight. This morning we hit up the elementary schols in The Dalles and Hood river and talked to the kids about doing sick tricks and charming the ladies. And wearing helmets and stuff too... Now we are killing time getting digital and relaxing in the plushness. Word. Tomorrow I may take the camera in the pocket and get some action photos to boot. Word. Check it later.

Kaboom!
Thats about what happened to me out there in the XC after attacking my brains out for the first lap. Had like 40 seconds on the chasers but then decided to ride my bike off the trail into some bushes and lost it all. Spent the rest of the day trying as hard as I could to hang on before getting dropped for good on the last lap and ending up 5th. Oh well, I gave it a go. Maybe next time I wont attack so early... The STXC sucked cause I crashed in the first turn and had to giver through about 40 dudes to get back into the front group. Again the legs went kapow! and I was stuck in about 12th for the finish. Oh well, time to do some more training now and get ready for Mt Hood and Park City.
