Would Lance Armstrong like it if I made him a mix tape? I doubt it, but I made him one anyways. It almost didn't get delivered because I am afraid of crowds, and wherever Lance goes, one is bound to rapidly assemble. I tried to get it to him in Santa Cruz, but I wussed out, then felt bad about it. So I drove to San Jose the next day and finagled my way into an introduction to his assistant Mark and made the drop. Wasn't sure Lance would actually get it due to the look on Marks face as he checked out my hand drawn CD cover, but I guess he passed it along and Lance Twittered about it. I am not exactly on Twitter, but all my hommies are and peeped me out on it. Sweet. Now I should try and get one to Phelps. That would be a real challenge! I pretty much peep out all the rad athletes with sweet tunes these days. Word

Please move to Illinois. We'll be your bff and show you all the cool skiz around these parts. I mean, it's no california, but we have lots of donut shops and it can't be that bad because Christian VandeVewhateveritsis grew up just a little bit north of here. I hear there are sweet jumps too.
This post has made my February and it has the first half of March reserved. You crack me up BW, no wonder "Chicks Dig Wicks"
Grabbed a Twitter account and here is what LA says, "Driving to the race listening to "Barry's super sweet mix tape for Lance". Dude named Barry gave it to us. Thanks, Barry."
Playlist?
you want one you will have to send me your address. these just arent for everyone foolio out there...
DJ B, we are honored. We're playing in the shop this very sec.

I was trying to figure out what songs Barry might put on a coming out of retirement tape for Lance, here is my picks:
"Back in the Saddle Again" by AeroSmith and the original version by Gene Aurtry.
"On the Road Again" by Willie Nelson.
"Macho Man" by the Village People.
"Bicycle Race" by Queen.
That was as far as I got when I got a copy of the now famous mix tape sent to me. None of my picks made the tape but it was good music anyway.
Thanks
Neil
you are old
This is one of your coolest posts ever. Hot damn.
I think this is the first time in my life I've actually been jealous of LA.
Willy Nelson is a doper. He doesn't belong on any mixtape made by any UCI-licensed racer not unless he agrees to resurrect Farm Aid with Cougar and the ghost of Waylon Jennings headlining.
Awesome! This mixtape is now making news at http://bikesnobnyc.blogspot.com/
Forget VeloNews, now you've really hit the bigtime.
well...
what was on the mix tape?
if I scroll down will I find this information?
was it music that you like or music that you like that you think he would like
where the songs set up to tell him a message in the way that boy makes a mix tape for a girl
giving meaning to the music whether they know it or not
was there anything by Bryan Ferry off Boys and Girls?
okay....
no more questions
