Holes

In my leg and in the ground. Collided with a large hole on the second lap and impaled my leg on my bars, creating a XTR shift lever shaped hole in my thigh. I could even see my muscle sliding around in there. Sweet tits. Went from the 40's back to 81st whilst spewing blood all over the scottish country side, then got some sweet staples in the installed. Back home now and starting to glue up wheels for cross. I can hardly wait for Starcrossed. I gotta try and win that stupid race one of there days..

Tomorrow is the Day

Went and hit the course for a few laps today. It is still is great shape even after all the junir and U23 kids went out and skidded up and down it or the last 2 days. Got a hot lap in and felt pretty ok. The descent is pretty hariy at speed. Those BMX style berms get slippery at the top. Had a pretty ear;y ride and lunch, so now just killing the day at the coffee shop and drinking lots of tea. It is pretty foggy and drizzley today, and who knows what tomorrow will be like. Doesnt much matter for the race I suppose as the course will stay the same no matter what. My bag finally showed up today. It only took 5 days. Good work US Airways! I think I am going to go shop for some stuff to bring home to my peeps now. Giver Eh!

Kinda Like Oregon

The weather at least. Is is in the 50s to 60s and drizzle all day here. Today it is a little bit clear but still not as nice as the Cruz. My bag still hasnt showed up, and no one knows any info about it still. I guess US airways is even worse at finding bags than United, which is pretty impressive. I am learning how few things I really need to get by though. Luckily I have access to Laundry so I can get away with wearing the same kit everyday and wash my clothes every 2 days as well. The course is staying perect, even though it has been raining so much, and yesterday Carl and I went and Poached some golf. We stopped in on our way back from training yesterday and the guy said they were open all day. When we went back it was all closed down, but we found some Clubs in the basement of the Hotel we are at so we just went out and played 9 holes. It was rad. I havent golfed since highschool, but we had fun wacking the balls into the heather around the course and 5 putting our way to triple boogies. I think carl won by 2 at the end. Wells is going to be so Jelous when he hears about it. Anways, that is about it. I am going to try and ride to Loch Ness today and see a monster.

Scotland

Made it to Ft William with not to much trouble. So did my bike. Not my bag full of clothes and Shoes and Helmet though. Plus no one knows where it might be. I do though and am in super slueth mode tracking it down. It is nice here at least. Got out on the course in borrowed gear last night and it is super fun. Really fast and Tons of fun. Kindda the Whistler of xc. Thats about it cuase my time is about to expire on the interweb, but more later.
